Josh Chang is a multi dimensional bass player that has many musical influences. These include; Funk, Rnb, reggae, oldies, ska, Latin, gospel and beyond. Although Josh has had formal music training including the jazz studies program at the University of Reno Nevada, he attributes a majority of his skills and abilities to experience on the road. He has toured with multiple groups around the US as well as abroad to countries like Germany, France and Czech Republic. His passion for music began at a young age and has evolved into a deep love and appreciation for the craft as a universal language as well as a therapeutic tool. He often enjoys collaborating in music therapy settings where the healing elements of the art can be utilized by those in need. Currently, Josh is based out of Long Beach California. He is involved with multiple gigs including a monthly residency in his town, collaborating with a sound therapist at various music festivals and playing with a rocksteady reggae ska group called The Delirians out of East Los Angeles. Since joining The Delirians, Josh has had the privilege of playing a variety of festivals here and abroad including; Freedom Sounds 2016 in Cologne, Germany, Lightning in a Bottle 2017, and Coachella 2018.
